I live only 100 meters from the Thames river, so very often I take a walk along the banks and always with the camera.
Although I have walked there many times, it is always different. The light changes, time of year of course, and not least the tide, there is over 5 meters difference between high tide and low tide.
For a Londoner it is very tranquil place to walk, hardly any noise from the traffic and you can clearly hear the birds sing. And there are plenty of opportunities to photograph common birds like geese, swans, herons and ducks.
